Center Editorial Board, 2020-21


Editor-in-Chief
Matthew Rimkunas
, a third-year student at Albany Law School and the Editor-in-Chief of the Center for Judicial Process, graduated magna cum laude from the University at Albany with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and minors in both Business and Sociology. Matthew has worked on both side
s of the criminal justice system, interning at The Law Offices of Gerard V. Amedio, P.C. as well as the Rensselaer County District Attorney’s Office. Presently, he is an intern at Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company, where he works on intricate tax and estate planning matters. Beyond Matthew’s internship experience, he volunteered in the 2018 Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition and was a participant in the 2019 Domenick L. Gabrielli Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition. 

Executive Editor
Hailey Smith
is a second year student at Albany Law School.  Prior to attending law school, she worked as a Litigation Clerk at a law firm in Southern California.  Hailey graduated from University of California, Berkeley where she double majored in Political Science and Legal Studies.  She has held multiple political internships, including interning for her local Congressman in California.  At Albany Law, Hailey was a first year Senator in the Student Bar Association and a member of the Business Law Society, Federalist Society, and American Constitution Society.  In this upcoming academic year, Hailey will be the Second Year Class President for the Student Bar Association, Vice President of the Federalist Society, and Event Coordinator for the Women’s Law Caucus.  She is also excited to participate in the Community and Development Clinic this upcoming fall semester.
